I'm brand new to getting started in podcasting. My question is, Do you have to have every piece of equipment to get started? Could I just use my microphone and audio interface and directly record and edit via my PC desktop? I think I may use Audacity. But, I am having difficulty in setting up the microphone with Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd generation. That's all the equipment I have for now. Have you got a video tutorial on this audio equipment please? I just want to get started. Thanks for a great video so far though! :)

It would be great to be able to apply different dynamic content to different episodes. For example, one of our sponsors only gets 30 sec ad reads in 2 episodes a month for 3 months BUT we run 4 episodes a month. Those ad reads are meant to be permanent but are not meant to be in every single episode moving forward til the end of time. Is there anyway to accommodate that?

Question: You mention if your podcast is on iTunes, that you can just search and bring it all over. But since yours wasn't on iTunes yet, you didn't do that. My podcast is currently hosted on Podbean as the primary and through Podbean is now also on iTunes. Should I used the iTunes search feature to pull all of my data - or since my primary is Podbean, would the Podbean RSS feed be the best way to go?

I first was introduced to the Rodecaster at a radio station I worked at. We used it for broadcasting sports and it sounds like it will be great once they decide to start live streaming games and other content that they can use it for that too. Its a great piece of equipment and I am thinking about starting my own podcast and this will be the board I buy.

With stereo it records precisely on its sides , in Omnidirectional all around the microphone, and cardio only records what is in front of the microphone.
